Definna and Hary reception in a Riau traditional reception, the reception taken place at Balai Sudirman, Definna and Hary look perfect for each other. Here are the photos from the reception, enjoy!

Definna and Hary’s “akad nikah” held at Masjid Sunda Kelapa and then after “akad nikah” continued with “tepung tawar.” Tepung tawar is “pat” the hands of bride and groom with saffron rice and dried (baked rice) and also always accompanied with rhymes. The people who giving “tepung tawar” is from the invitation, the people of noble birth, such as traditional leaders and also from the old people who come from distant relatives then ended with the reading of prayers by a cleric. “Tepung tawar” means as a prayer for the bride and groom so that they poured food, sincere in doing, find peace, peace of mind in married life and society.

We first met with Definna few years ago when her sister got married, and then she said, “Someday, when I got married, I want you to photograph my wedding day.”
Day after day, month to change the month, year to year changes, and suddenly we got a call from Definna, and she said she she would marry and she wanted to keep her promise, what a call!!! And we are happy like crazy hahaha…
Definna and Hary marriage in a Riau traditional ceremony and it lasted for 3 days, starting from “pengajian” and “siraman” (bridal shower) and then on the second day is the wedding ceremony called “akad nikah” at Masjid Sunda Kelapa and the third day is the wedding reception at Balai Sudirman, Jakarta.
Okay now let’s take a look our favourites from day 1, and don’t forget to stay tune on day 2 and day 3, you will love them all!!!

Before meet with Linna and William, first we are contacted by William’s sister, Evelyn. She love photographs and love our works. And then we meet with all the families member, Linna and William, William’s sister Evelyn, and William’s Mom and Dad also, that’s a challenge for us to convince the entire family hahaha… The first impression after meeting with their families is that they are good family, fun, and also respect other people, and we’re totally right.
Linna and William want the prewedding photo session in Bali and also we have an extra session in Sheraton Bandara Hotel, Jakarta, where the wedding reception would held. Here’s the photos in Bali, and soon we will upload the session in Jakarta. Enjoy!

Jessyca + Dame 200% love THEUPPERMOST, yes that’s true, cause they were one of the great couple that in love with us so much, they love every photos that we capture! We also in love with this couple, three words for Jessyca : expressive, worried and love us, three words for Dame : cool, calm and love us, Jess no offense yah hahaha…

We love working with this couple, they are so fun and easy to captured, We can feel their emotions, they will do whatever we ask them to do and that’s really a big help for us . We have two sessions at Bandung and Jakarta, here are the results and we believe someday we gonna gave another photoshoot with them, just believe in us hahaha… .

Riri and Johan were married on July 12th 2009 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. We always love a traditional wedding and especially a mixed-culture wedding, and Riri & Johan Wedding was one of the best, every wedding photographer would have known that that it’s not easy to photographed a traditional wedding, and for us it called a challenge . The make up start early in the morning and then finished at 22.00 o’clock, what a long super fun-exciting day .
Riri and Johan was a great clients and now become our friends, just like our another clients .

Hi Friends! How are you?
This is our first post on our ‘new home’ and we are so happy with our ‘new home’, yaaaayyyy!!! If you are new to our blog, you may not know that before this blog we had another photo blog that serve us nearly two years! we were so sad to have to move to this new blog but it was time to upgrade, but something went wrong until now, we are still cannot access our old blog, and we are trying to figure it out

Okay let’s move on, back to business .
Riri and Johan was one of great couples that we’ve meet, both are doctors, beautiful and handsome fit with each other, we are so proud having a chance to capture their memories. I just want to make it quick, let’s enjoy the photos .
