Selected as Judges for Two Different International Wedding Photography Contests

Dear friends,

It’s been 8 years, since we committed our heart to wedding photography.

It’s not just a piece of shutter released result, but a showcase of successive styles in visual storytelling. We are constantly inspired by the world around us and deeply hope that we also can inspired others by our every single piece of photographs we’ve shoot! The eager in between are getting stronger and bolder eventually. From years to years, we’ve pushing ourselves to take part in every prestigious wedding photography competition to prove that we’re getting better and better from each year. Although we know the best is yet to come!

Wedding photography is getting bigger and more creative each days. The breeze of this industry had reach a certain new milestones. Technology makes an artist works easier, enlighten us to reaching out of box even more. At the same time, the variety of wedding photography style from journalistic, editorial, modern till dramatic contribute a huge portion of sparks in this industry too.

We’ve learned that photographers from all around the world are very inspiring and photography contests give us a way to always challenge ourselves. The biggest challenge in a race is ourselves. To compete, not with others, but with ourselves. Do we get better each day? Submitting photos to contests is one of the ways! It’s not really about the competition. You’re frequently running everything through your mind and competing against preconceived ideas. It’s not really the person next to you that you worry about, right?

After a series of milestone, this year we’ve been fine-selected as wedding photography competition’s judges. Both are international caliber, which we feels really honored to being part of it. Junebug Weddings buzzed us last month regarding the invitation being featured as the judges together with Gabe McClintock, an inspiring wedding photographer from US that we’ve been admired as well.

Second call for judges is from MYWED together with a long A-list international photographers. We’re proud Indonesian being listed along with those worldwide famous photographers.

The contest creates a bridge linking the professionals with the general public. As the announcement of the winners makes headlines around the world, so the inspirational role of wedding photographer is highlighted to an audience of hundreds of millions. With the industry getting bigger every year, brides-to-be have a lot of research to do, and being an award-winning photography studio will gives the winner an advantage to be more memorable. Every photographer will have pride for their work, but having your picture curated among other pictures from all over the world is different.
