SABAI + RINGGO WEDDING | VILLA PHALOSA BALI WEDDING

Everybody has a little piece of fantasy when it comes to a beach wedding. A perfect stage for a lifetime memories to be told somehow. Especially when I know the wedding will be hold at Phalosa Villa, Seminyak. It’s a simple down to earth venue while feels like heaven at the same time. It was a perfect sunny Sunday for a wedding day. I arrived earlier than expected with my friend Fanfani, a friend of Ringgo who’ll be covering the wedding as well.

Ringgo with all his funny & saying whatever on his mind attitude just awake by time we arrived. With a proper bed-hair & mild grey t-shirt, he started to have his morning coffee and jesting around that he finally detached from the label of his very first movie – JOMBLO. Jomblo in indonesian means single.

Back then, it was a funny life twist when I figured out how Sabai & Ringgo found each other at the very first place.
It was on a movie set when they bumped each other for first time. It takes not that long for them to get comfort on each other cause Ringgo is an easy to love person while Sabai borned with a series of personality that Ringo had been looking-for as a mother figure for his future child.

At the same time while we chattering, Sabai started to get her make-up & hair-do on. Although it’s our first time met, but I don’t have difficulty to approach her inside my frame. Her spontaneous without any affectation made my lens can’t stop to capture her every single moves. Most of the time in my wedding coverage experiences, bride & groom always being terrored with certain tension that force them can’t enjoy much on their wedding day. But all the images gone when it comes to Sabai and Ringgo wedding.

As sun started to heading west, clock showing 4pm. Ringgo started to get bath & dress proper afterwards. With a little missing of mom’s presence made this groom & father’s moment becomes very intimate and touching at the same time. Backsound of both side families arrived and chattering, makes the scenery even more alive now while sun at its perfect shades leaving nothing but a warmth shimmer late noon.

Vecky from Jak-FM Radio was the master of ceremony, started to call-out all the families & friend to gather around at the beachside as the process of Ijab Kabul will be started soon. Ringgo, still with his funny attitude try to hide some uncertain tension behind his black shades as he walk into the ceremony. Accompanied by his father, Ringgo started to feel anxious the moments Sabai walk down the aisle together with her mom.

The whole ceremony was filled with warmth and relax at the same time. After a series of tension, finally they sealed each other with their very own preferred ways of love and witnessed by their dearly families & friends. Sabai can’t hold the tears when Ringgo made his wedding vows at the end. The whole ceremony was perfectly ended with a series of baloon released to the beautiful Bali sky.

As night approached, more and more guests showing-up. This is somehow an easy to spot a movie-star wedding. As sky getting darker, the whole wedding decoration started to shimmer at its perfect tone. A perfect presentation of a dream wedding by Jonquilladecor. Elegant but intimate at the same time, while the sounds of chittering waves as background will make anyone fall in love deeply at this scenery. After a series of cocktails served, dinner served afterwards followed by cutting cakes, best friend speech, first dance, and well accompanied by a series of love songs that being performed live.

The whole wedding seems too dreamy to be true when a series of fireworks being released into the skies. A perfect way to giving a fullstop to this entire surreal images. It was a long day for me but all the images that shown make me can’t stop my index finger to press the shutter on my camera. As the love songs performances being shifted into a little upbeat rhythm played by DJ Disco Pantera, the beats are too good to stop shuffling. And this is it, the very own essence of every wedding party, the after party! As night getting dark and darker, the beats yet getting high and higher. Nothing left but a shimmering impact of this entire big day of Sabai & Ringgo.

It is a big honour for me being able to witness this lovely couple sealed their love in their very own way at this beautiful Bali. I can’t thank you enough for the hospitality from everyone I bumped on this wedding. Special big thanks to Fanfani! Last, I wish you guys nothing but the best in future, Sabai & Ringgo. You guys are too amazing to be true, I can’t say how much fun I had when I works myself behind my camera in your wedding.
