Wedding photography and wedding videography industries are rough, difficult, very demanding and dynamic. We, THEUPPERMOST started the business out of desire to make the world a better place to live where art is appreciated, where beauty is magnified and order is established, where gratitude is the attitude, where happiness is celebrated, moments are cherished and love is expressed.

Each element is like a flavor of ice cream. It is difficult to accomplish all of them in one scoop.

THEUPPERMOST exists to capturing those elements in frames and now in motion pictures, we named it THEUPPERMOTION, Theuppermost in motion. Let’s hear from our newest members: Yestha and Adi.

Q: Why videography?
Yestha: My childhood dream is to be an animator, as I love to draw still images to tell a story. Then, when I entered college, I started to get exposed to videography and immediately fell in love with it. There are emotions, details and motions that I could capture to compose story and convey a message.
Adi: I started with photography until I met a videographer who later became my mentor. He showed and taught me the nitty gritty of videography. He is my source of inspiration and aspiration.

Q: What is the most challenging thing to be a videographer?
Yestha: Well, the most challenging part is presenting a unique concept video for the bride and groom while the demand constantly changes. The highest satisfaction is when the couple is truly amazed when watching their wedding video.
Adi: Carrying videography accessories and equipment. It is not super heavy but definitely tiring at times, the rest are fun stuff!

Q: What is the best thing happened in your life?
Yestha: Being able to witness the birth of my first child and being able to record it on the video. As a videographer, my mind was focusing on angles, lighting, depth of field, strategic positions, but as a newly father, it was emotionally rejuvenating.

Q: What is your biggest dream?
Yestha: Producing the best wedding video in the world.
Adi: Traveling around the world and learning from well-known videographers.

Q: What is the best moment in a wedding?
Yestha: When the couplepays tribute to the parents during the holy matrimony. There are lots of emotionsto be captured and message to be conveyed.
Adi: Everything! From preparation to the meeting the bride, from the wedding vow to the first dance. There is no better moment; every moment is important to be beautifully captured.

Q: Your favorite lens?
Yestha: Nikon AI 50mm 1.8 lens. I can shoot the whole day with this lens.
Adi: 24mm is a must to make a good composition of angle

Q: What is your favorite videography accessories?
Yestha: Stabilizer system, especially glidecam is the most essential. Glidecam may take time to master as well as extra stamina to handle; however, once you get the hang of it, it will close the gap between the ‘imagined’ angle and movements and the reality shots. Also,Glidecam is my secret ‘weapon’ to create and lighten the moods when the situation is unexpected.
Adi: Monopod. It helps accommodating many movements needed for taking shots.

Q: Give me the reason why client should choose you being their videographer?
I think this is where we have to stop talking and start showing you our portfolio. :) You, the client, have the honor to decide. Enjoy!
